About Meg Shaw

I am here not only to help you sell or buy your house, but also to be an advocate for you. My passion is helping people and solving problems. Even before becoming licensed I have always had a love for real estate and have helped many friends, family members and coworkers find their homes while assisting their real estate agent.

I was given an opportunity to work with Jan Walker’s team at Berkshire Hathaway, C. Dan Joyner, Realtors and was so excited. Jan was my agent two different times and knew about my love for real estate. I am so blessed to work with a team that has so much experience and involvement in the upstate community.

Growing up as an Air Force kid, I had the opportunity to house hunt with my parents about every 3 years and loved the whole process. We lived in Fayetteville, NC; Willingboro, NJ; Panama City, FL; Bitburg, Germany; San Bernardino, CA; Honolulu, HI; and Alexandria, VA. I have experienced so many things growing up all over the world, but I chose South Carolina as my home after graduating from Winthrop University. I think South Carolina is so beautiful and I love the people. I have lived here for 30 years.

I currently live in Moore, SC with my husband Reggie, and have 3 adult children, 23, 21 & 19. My husband is a career teacher and football coach. He is the head coach at Byrnes High School. Our oldest son is a political consultant in Columbia and attended USC, our middle son is pre-med at Clemson and was on the football team, our daughter is a nursing major and plays Lacrosse at Coker University.
